What happens to your details when you order flowers from us: what we ask for, why we need it, how long we keep it, and how to get it back or have it deleted.

Browsing the site without ordering
You can look at the whole website without telling us who you are. While you browse, our server keeps the ordinary access log that every web server keeps:
- The domain name of your internet provider and/or the IP address that gives you access to the network. A visitor using provider XXX is identified only by the domain xxx.es and/or the IP address. This lets us produce statistics about which countries and networks visit us most often.
- The date and time of the visit, which tells us when the site is busiest so we can avoid problems at peak times.
- The internet address of the link that brought you here, so we know which links and referrals actually work.
- The number of daily visitors to each section, so we know which pages are useful and can improve them.
That information is anonymous and cannot be linked to a particular, identified person.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. There is nothing to accept and nothing to refuse.
The cookie page explains that in full, including what happens on the payment page, which is not ours.
What we ask for when you place an order
Only what it takes to make the flowers and get them to the right door:
- About you: your name, email address, phone number and country.
- About the person receiving the flowers: their name, address, town, postcode and phone number. The phone number is required because it is how we reach them if nobody answers the door.
- About the order: the flowers, the date and time slot, the message on the card, and any notes you leave us.
- If you ask for an invoice: your tax number and billing address.
- Technical: the IP address the order was sent from, kept with the order as a record that the order was really placed.
We never see your card number. It is typed on the page of Redsys, the Spanish bank card network, and stays with them; all we get back is confirmation that the payment went through. See our terms.
How we use your data and how long we keep it
At Floristeria EMI (Albert Garcia Rubio) we process the information you provide us in order to supply the service requested and to issue your invoice. The data provided will be kept for as long as the commercial relationship is maintained, or for the time necessary to comply with legal obligations and to deal with any liabilities that may arise from the fulfilment of the purpose for which the data were collected. The data will not be disclosed to third parties except where there is a legal obligation to do so.
One thing that sentence is worth spelling out, because it is the question we are asked most. The companies that help us carry out your order — our hosting provider, our email provider, Redsys for the card payment, and a delivery company or a partner florist when one is involved — receive only what they need for that job and only on our instructions. They work for us; they are not third parties being given your data for their own purposes.

The Spanish data protection authority has a section of its website in English.
