Funeral flowers in Barcelona

One thing worth knowing: in Barcelona the ceremony is usually held within 24 to 48 hours of the death, which is much sooner than in the UK or the US. If you want flowers to be there, get in touch as soon as you know the details.

Funeral homes here are called tanatorios. They hold the wake and the ceremony, and the family is normally there for most of it.

How to order

Write to us on WhatsApp with these four things, and we will reply with what we can do and the price:

• The funeral home and the town
• The name of the person who has died — this is how the funeral home knows where the flowers go
• The room number if you have it, and the time of the ceremony
• What you would like the ribbon to say, if you want one

The ribbon is normal here and most families expect it. It usually carries who the flowers are from: “From your family in London”, or simply the names. We can write it in English, Spanish or Catalan.
