How it works

Everything you need to know before sending flowers to Barcelona. If something is not answered here, ask us on WhatsApp.

Ordering

  1. Pick your flowers and the date. The price you see already includes VAT and delivery to the town you choose.
  2. Tell us where they go and who receives them. We need a phone number for the recipient.
  3. Pay by card. The whole checkout is in English and in euros.

Payment goes through Redsys, the Spanish bank card network. Your card details are typed on their page, not ours: we never see them or store them.

Delivery times

All times are Barcelona time (CET in winter, CEST in summer). That is one hour ahead of the UK and six ahead of New York.

You choose one of three slots:

Same-day delivery works if the order and the payment are in before the cut-off. The cut-off is a guide: traffic and the weather can move it.

Weekends are mornings only, and in high summer, from 21 June to 21 September, we are closed on Sundays. Public holidays vary; the calendar in the order form only offers dates we can actually deliver, so if you can pick it, we can do it.

On the busiest days — Sant Jordi, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas — the slot you choose is a guide rather than a promise. We deliver through the day.

Where we deliver

Barcelona city and the towns around it. The full list is here, with the delivery fee for each one.

We also deliver to hospitals and clinics and to funeral homes. Both work differently from a home address, so those pages explain what we need from you.

For the rest of Spain we work with trusted local florists. Ask us and we will tell you what is possible.

Prices

Every price on the site includes VAT and delivery. There is nothing added at the end.

The delivery fee depends on the town, and the product pages already show the total once you choose one. Barcelona city is free.

Around Valentine’s Day and Sant Jordi the flowers themselves cost more — that is the whole market, not just us. Those prices apply on set dates and are already shown on the site when they are in force.

If nobody is home

We call the recipient. That is why the phone number is required, and why a wrong one is the single most common reason an order goes wrong.

We do what we reasonably can to deliver as soon as possible, but we cannot be responsible for a delay caused by nobody being there or by an address that turns out to be wrong.

In a hotel, hospital or any building with a reception or access control, the order is complete when we hand the flowers over there. Staff take them the rest of the way.

What arrives is not always the photo

We work with fresh flowers and the market changes week to week. An arrangement may vary in structure or colour from the photo, keeping the same quality and the same idea.

Where the product names what is in it — a dozen roses, for instance — you get exactly that.

If you would rather avoid something, tell us in the order notes. Strong scents in a hospital room, or a colour the recipient dislikes: we can work around it.

Changes and cancellations

Get in touch before the flowers go out and we will sort it. Once they have been delivered we cannot undo it.

Write on WhatsApp or to info@floristeriaemi.com, quoting your order number.

Flowers are perishable, so we do not take returns. The exceptions are the ones that matter: if the flowers arrive faulty, or we sent the wrong thing, tell us within 12 hours and we will put it right.

Invoices

Tick the invoice box when you order and give us the billing details. If you forgot, write to us with the order number and we will send it.

Talk to us
