the first Sunday of May. We deliver in Barcelona and the towns around it, with VAT and delivery included in the price.
This catches people out, so it is worth saying plainly: Spain does not celebrate Mother’s Day on the same date as the UK or the US. Here it falls on the first Sunday of May.
The UK marks it in March, on Mothering Sunday. The US takes the second Sunday of May. If you send flowers to Barcelona on your own country’s date, they will arrive on an ordinary day — which is a fine thing to do, but it will not be the day everyone else is celebrating.
Families here tend to meet for lunch, and flowers arrive in the morning. A bouquet or a plant both work; a plant lasts longer, which some people prefer.
It falls on a Sunday, and we deliver that Sunday. Mornings only, so order the day before to be safe. The slot is a guide rather than a promise on that day.
Slots, cut-off times and what happens if nobody is home are all on how it works. If you need something that is not on the site, ask us on WhatsApp.
